Amistad Apts. are a very uncomfortable environment to live in. Most of this location is low-income, which makes it even more pathetic because of the way they act and live...i felt like we were living in the projects. And the staff is very unorganized when it comes to helping you with your apt problems...we moved into our apt the end of June and moved out a few months after--they would not make the nec. repairs we requested(repairs that NEEDED to be down) and it is supposed to be a drug free environment--YEAH RIGHT! The staff and managing company really need to take some steps in making it a better, safer place to live. They also need to make all repairs as soon as possible. They may want to enforce their drug free policy and maybe have a better criteria for who they rent out to. And most of all, listen to your tenants and look into what they complain about, don't doubt them and make them feel insignificant!
