Dorr Elementary offers education to students in kindergarten through fourth grade. The school has a parent-teacher organization that organizes various fundraising programs. It is a part of the Wayland Union School District, which offers community education classes in a range of disciplines that includes aerobics, babysitter training, dog obedience, first-aid, hunter safety, karate, self-defense and tumbling. The district also provides before and after school child care and programs for young adults and senior citizens. Additionally, it provides programs for students with various disabilities, such as visual impairments, learning disabilities, cognitive impairments and autistic spectrum disorders.
