Provided by YPmobileThis business is shady and the owner is sneaky. They riped my husband off for over a year and he had been a great customer for years. My husband felt like things had changed at the gym and not for the good so he talked to the owner and ask him to cancel his membership that he was changing gyms. The man said he was busy but as soon as he got to his office he would take care of it. Nothing was said about signing any papers. Nothing! My husband is a very educated man and if someone told him he needed to sign something he certainly would have. Now they are telling us that since he never signed something saying he wanted to cancel they will not cancel it. But the owner told me in our conversation that he didn't know why they were still taking out money from our account. That's because he knows he did wrong! What a scam! If you don't know to sign a paper then they can continually take money out of your account. Even though they know your not and haven't come in for over a year. I wonder how many other people they've done that too. I told him that morally he should know better and he could reinburse us. He said no! Until we come in and sign a paper they will not stop! I'm a paled that someone puts business over morals and doing what's right!

Provided by YPmobileI signed up for a 12 month membership that expired a few months ago, and switched banks about a month ago. In making sure I had everything go through, I found out Paradise Fitness had been still taking out the monthly fee even though my contract expired. When I called, they said it was in the contract that they would continue to collect fees after the membership expired on a monthly basis until I signed a form. When I signed my contract, the girl did not tell me this. It feels like they've been stealing from me for months now. Beware all, they'll try to swindle you too!
I am sorry you feel misled with your membership. The renewal and cancellation procrdures are stated in the agreement to which every member is given a copy of. It is also initialed so the member is made aware of the renewal procedures. I feel it unfair to claim staff misled you.

Provided by YPmobileOwner and employees are rude and condescending. They do everything possible to make it hard to terminate contracts and then still autodraft funds after you " think" you've cancelled services. Official Better Business Bureau rating "F"
I am sorry to hear you had troubles with your contract. Cancellation procedures are listed on your membership agreement as well as the cancellation request form and are standard for every member.

Provided by YP.comThey have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I tried to cancel because I could not go enough, they told I had to go at least 10 times in a four week span to qualify to cancel. They told me then I could get a doctor's note, well I got one and they said everything should be ok. Today I get a bill in the mail so I called them and they said they don't regulate that sort of stuff. So now I'm stuck in a 12 month contract but I will not step foot in that place I hope you don't as well
Regretfully we do not regulate what is covered by the medical clause. This area is a state regulated issue so the handicapped cannot be descriminated against. It is even required to be in different font on the agreement. Sorry you feel that our club was staff was not responsive to your request.
