Dr. Anish Desai is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He has been in practice since 2004. Dr. Desai received both his Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Genetics & Zoology and his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Following his internship and residency, he completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology. Dr. Desai has received the Excellence in Leadership Award from WellStar Health Systems for his numerous contributions. He is co-author of several publications and is also a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Desai is marred with 2 children and enjoys spending time with his family.
