My Grandchildren attend this school. I am happy to say that they have been well cared for and loved for several years. They are intelligent & respectful. I am thankful for the positive role the owner of this school has played in all of their lives!

If I could give this place Zero stars I would! Do not send your kids to this facility. I worked here for three days and it was horrible. First off , she (Mrs Shakoohi) hired me on the spot without checking my references. I also wasn't given any paperwork for pay or anything else.
On the first day I was by myself with 10 toddlers plus an infant. I had to change 7 children by myself with no help. No one came to my aid and they saw how many children there were. I was with the kids from 7:45 until 5:30 and I had no breaks. Also the children eat once and the amount of food they get is very small. They have snack time, but if the kids ask for more, Mrs Shakooi will not give it to them.
Today , I got a call from Mr. Shakooi stating that they didn't need me today at 7:45, mind you I already drive 35 minutes to get here.
The place is unprofessional. Not to sound racist but they are foreign so I personally think that they were trying to get over on me. Also note that they offered to pay me 7.25 to take care of 10 children for 9 hours! Again I stress to you please do not send your child here. This place needs to be shut down. They are using the money from the state and calling it Montessori when it really isn't.

I will start by saying if you care about your children then don't send them to this school. My son there for a limited amount of time. He was there long enough to know there was never any toilet paper in the facility. Lunch was nothing at all but spoonfuls of items and not up to date items. THe children are aloowed out in the cold without jackets. and when you go in to try to observe the class you get yelled out saying not allowed. My son has been disciplined by the teacher mrs. shooki who hardly speaks english and looks down at the parents. No one should discipline my child and yet I was not told my son cried not to go to there because of how he was treated. I pulled my son out because all the negative reviews are true and came to light for me and i feel awful I put my son in that situration.

The International Academy is a wonderful school for children. The owner, Mrs. Shokoohi, is dedicated to the children. She is at the school from early morning to late afternoon and always accessible to answer any questions, The teachers truly care about the children and provide students with a nurturing learning environment. The Montessori method is an excellent method to use for children. Children are able to reach their full potential and are able to strive in the learning environment. If you want your child to have the best education, I would highly recommend the International Academy. It is one of the best schools in Georgia.

MY REVIEW OF INTERNATIONAL ACADAMY

BY:LE’FARRAH DANIEL I Le’Farrah Daniel on this date of 6/18/10 have viewed over INTERNATIONAL ACADAMY and seen that this is a school that all parents should send there kids to. I have seen that this is a discipline school that has a very good teaching environment. I must brag about the Principal and the Teachers. The teachers here shows concentration to their work and do everything they can to help the children. The Principal makes sure that her school is clean, obtained, and unbelievably homey for the children and makes sure that the children are cared for. This is an example to other schools what they should be like. I asked 4 children why they like this school in exact words when it was time for recess. Zoin Daniel{3 years old} said” I ike cause it has lots of waer aboon” {I like it because it has lots of water balloons}. Shamir Daniel{5 years old} said “I like everything”. Nijha Murray{6 years old} also said” I like the teachers”. Nickolas Frazier{3 years old} said to me ” I like recess”. Then I asked some teachers why they liked working here. ”kids are so cute” Ms.Candices said. Soon I asked one more teacher why she liked working here why she liked to working here and said” I enjoy working and I enjoy kids”. After that I asked the principal Mrs.Shokooh why she liked having a school, She said that she loves kids from any age group from babies to 14, 15, or 16 I guess she can’t choose because she loves them all at any age. In my book this school will always be given a 100%. If you any questions please look for me at INTERNATIONAL ACADAMY.

International Academy

I think that International Academy is a wonderful Montessori school. The children are happy, and the building has been remodeled and modernized recently. I never see the school dirty or any roaches. The director is wonderful and really cares about all the children who attend. I would recommend International Academy to all parents who are looking for a Montessori school that really cares about children.

I would not recommed this school it has roaches and the owner is the director she is very nice to your face but behind closed doors its a different story, she is mean to the children, and as lunch there the children are served example 2 chicken nuggets, 1 spoon of rice, and 2 pieces of an apple they do not get a snack after nap but they tell you they do.
