Poor service overall!! We thought we were getting a decent sized above ground pool for a little over $5,000. I should have known that was too good to be true. Our land is sloped, and we knew that we would need to have an area excavated and leveled to have the pool built. We asked them to provide us with an estimate and they stated they couldn't come out to give an estimate, but then said that they had built similar pools in my development and that it shouldn't be more than a few hundred dollars. We ended up paying $1,500! And the man who came out said he would have come to give us an estimate had Dover Pools contacted him (Dover Pools subcontracts this service and does not provide the services themselves...so they were not giving me accurate information as they weren't even the ones to provide the service!). I then had to have a retaining wall built (which cost me another $2,500-and that was a VERY good cheap find...others wanted $10,000!) which was a hit to the budget. They also did not help with pulling any permits. We had no idea that we would need a separate electrician (we thought all of these services were included with the purchase) to run power (bc of the filter) and that we would need this inspected by an actual electrician, not a routine inspector. They were not able to provide us with a contact to run this electricity so we ended up finding someone online who did the whole job wrong and caused us to fail inspection (and waste $850.00!). Many issues transpired by having this pool built, and I truly feel that (starting with the excavation) maybe they weren't 100% upfront and forthcoming with information because they knew they would have lost a sale. I would have said "no" had I realized it would have cost me $4,000 for the leveling and retaining wall (and I didn't even mention the $8,500 we had to spend on a fence...but that wasn't directly their fault so I'll leave that story out!). PLEASE do your research before buying a pool from them! Other companies do a MUCH BETTER job assisting with pulling permits, etc.

Be sure the chemicals recommen...

Be sure the chemicals recommended are compatable with your pool chenistry.

Had water tested at store, had high copper level.

Sold me a STORE BRAND CHEMICAL to remove copper in my BAQUACIL pool.

After running pump for 36 hours there was NO change in water clairity.

Had water re-tested, there was no change.

Now wanted to sell me the BAQUACIL brand.

Asked why did the sell me the store brand when it don't work with BAQUACIL, the young lady said it was store policy to sell store brand first.

They ended up, after some discussion giving me the CORRECT brand chemical to work in my pool AT NO CHARGE.

Guess they need to sell there brand first, even if they know it's not going to work.

GOTTA WATCH THAT PROFIT MARGIN!!
