When you drive down route 13 and see that smoker in the parking lot of Jessie James Seafood and Barbeque, that is what in my former profession was called a clue. Where there's smoke there's fire. This place is on fire!



Simple comfort food, prepared with a passion and delivered with care. Chef Michael's soups are worthy of praise, he's gifted in the arts of flavor profiles, garde manger, and originality. We had his crab chowder, simply magnificent.



The cornbread is slammin' and the sweet tea alone is worth a visit. All the sides are smack your momma good. Chef is an artist with the smoker.



The decor is funky, warm, and un pretentious. The unisex bathroom clean and well appointed. Service was excellent,.



The prices are more than reasonable. Our meal with sweet tea, soup, and an entree with two sides each was less than forty bucks.
