I hired Jim loring S&J transport to move a mobile home in August he told me he could move the place between Sept 1-8 I tried calling him a week before the 1st with no answers to calls or texts ? He finally contacted me on the Sept 2 and said the 8th is a go I can move your place I said that's fine . the day of the 8th I called to see how he was making out with no answer . I sent a dozen texts with no answer . a few days later he texted and explain he had truck trouble in Massachusetts . the home I have that needed to be moved was in Maine . so he said I will move it on the 17th or 18th Sept . I said fine that will work for me sorry you had trouble . the 17th came with no answer to calls or text 18th went by the same story no calls or text . so I texted him and said I can't do this lack of communication and you not living up to your word I need to hire someone to move my home . he wasn't long texting me after telling him I'm all done with his services. He told me the same story as the last failed move date truck trouble in Massachusetts. He then was apologizing and was sorry for waisting my time . and we talk about a HR . he said I can definitely move you on the 1 of Oct if your still interested I agree and I wait 10 more days till the first the 1st came and I was excited that finally I can start getting my home ready just before the snow flys . the 1st came no answers to calls or text no home and this guy messing me up a third time with no home . I hired a company out of Bangor that day and they said we can move you on the 11th I said great please keep in touch if problems turn up and they communicated very well and my home came the day he said it would . till this day I have not received my 500.00 deposit money that S&J asked for months ago . so buyer beware if your on a tight deadline I would call around first this guy Jim is a joke .

J & S Transportation is the absolute best!!! Without their help, Our sister wouldn't be in her newer home right now! We were having trouble finding a good dependable mobile home mover. She was given Jim's Phone Number. We gave Jim a call, Jim met us there and the process began. WOW! He and his crew do it all! We had the skirting, the decks, and the oil barrel removed. We emptied the water heater and tried to empty the water lines, our nephews air compressor gave up in the middle of that process. Jim and his crew unhooked the water and sewer. Put on needed tires, 10 of them, hooked up the tongue, and moved her home to it's new location. He and his crew worked in totally adverse winter weather to get the home set up and running. It was a hard job because of the weather and there were some repairs needed for the plumbing. The kept coming back and got the home up and running. And told our sister if she had any trouble just give him a call. Our parents, in their 80's came there most days that Jim and his crew were there to meet them. We want to thank Jim and Crew for being so to our sister and our Parents. You are a AAA+++ company we will be sure to recommend you. Thank you very Much from The Overlock family

Does not communicate or keep promises. Still have two homes installed over 11 months ago without anchors. Paid in advance. Have 11 months of no call-backs and, when I did hear something it was missed promise after missed promise. I was told next week, within next two weeks, before end of August, September, October...etc.
