O'Neill Middle School serves more than 530 students in grades seven and eight. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as language arts, social studies, science and math. It provides a selection of programs in art, foreign language and physical education, as well as options to participate in several athletic activities, such as cross-country, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. O'Neill Middle School also manages garden, spirit and recycling clubs. The school provides the English as a Second Language program and operates a parent-teacher association that works for student welfare. In addition, it offers guidance counseling and special education services. O'Neill Middle School operates a library and is managed by Downers Grove Grade School District 58.
