DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO ARCO WELDER REPAIR! They take forever and don't do what they say there gonna do. The people who answer the phone have no clue whats going on or what there doing. They had my lil welder for over 6 months and it only needed a circuit board. Instead of taking your welder to them for repair just go to school and learn how to fix it yourself it's faster that way

HE TAKES FOREVER TO TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMERS AND THIS AUGIE GUY NEVER CALLS, OR SHOWS UP TO LET YOU KNOW THAT HE CANT MAKE IT OR IF HE HAS TO RESCHEDULE, THE GUY JUST DOESNT SHOW UP, IM TELLING YOU NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER USE THIS GUY HE IS THE WORST THERE IS........

i recently dropped off my wire welder for repair. I was waiting for an estimate but was told a technician would get back to me. Finally spoke to the rep that initially took my unit and he indicated the repair was already done. This surprised me because I hadn't received an estimate and I had set a limit of what I would pay because it was a very cheap unit. The rep indicated the cost would be about 75% of what I originally paid for the unit and well above my 50% limit. I advised the rep that had I known about the repair price via an estimate, I would probably not have it down and would buy a better unit. He was very courteous but indicated he couldn't do anything about it as the unit was already fixed. So, today I went to pick up the unit and met the rep. He told me he spoke with his boss about my predicament and the boss said to let me have the unit back without any charge. Wow, this blew me away. I told him I wanted to pay something but he said no, this is what his boss wanted done. I cannot thank Arco Welder Repair for this generous gesture and will certainly steer anyone with similar welder problems their way. Top flight operation! Dennis Y. 6/13/14
