Provided by YPmobileIt doesn't look like much from the outside, awkward parking, in an off beat section of town. Family run and tiny. Large screen TV playing scenes from Greece ;) To-go window in the foyer. Split level seating. But...the food was great! Better that great. Everything is homemade, even the rice in the dolmas ($4.50, serving of 5). We ordered pork Souvlaki ($8.50 served with FF) and Spanikopita ($7.50 served with soup or salad), Babaganoush ($3.50), and Galactoboureko ($3.50 this is a homemade dessert involving pudding and fillo). I probably botched the spelling on everything, but don't let it dissuade you from giving this place a try. It's BYOB, which is always refreshing. Lets be honest, we know what we like in the wine department. The Spanikopita is spiral shaped which was pretty unique! Also the eggplant spread was super garlicky, and almost tasted like there was feta in it. Wow. My fiancé gobbled down his Souvlaki, before I could sample the Tzaziki...but...he proclaimed it good after I got salty at him for not sharing!!
In summary, it's a quiet place with linen tablecloths that serves delicious home made Greek food that won't even remotely break the bank. We went on a nasty rainy Thursday and there were 3 other tables.

Provided by YP.comThe Grapevine Cuisine is a new Greek restaurant from Dimitri & Marina Papaioannou at 84 W. Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown.
The restaurant is on the corner of Lancaster and Viaduct Avenue, about one block from the train station.
The menu has pages of appetizers, sides, soups, salads and sandwiches before you get to the entrees. In the entrees, you’ll find chicken, beef, pork, seafood, vegetarian, and a kids selection. And then there are the desserts and drinks, including herbal teas and a Greek Coffee. Grapevine Cuisine is BYOB.
On our several visits, we have enjoyed three of the soups: the Greek chicken soup, the meatball soup, and (my favorite) the bean soup. Dimitri also favored us with his own “Russian” salad.
For entrées, we have had the veggie mousaka, the eggplant parmesan, the souvlaki sandwich (with Marina’s outstanding homemade Tsatsiki Dip), the gyro dinner, and the orzo with chicken. All of these delicious.
Finally for desserts, we have tried just two: the Baklava with vanilla ice cream and the Kataifi.
