I used this dry cleaner for about a year with no major problems. I had shirts, pants and suits going in at least weekly. One week I noticed that I was missing a pair of pants from my suit. Only the jacket was ready. The owner asked me to come back the next day to get the slacks. I arrived the next day and she had the slacks ready for me. Two days later I went to put the suit on and the pants were extremely tight. I took them off and checked the lable to make certain they were my slacks. The label on the slacks matched the jacket. I then checked the waist size of the slacks. The waist size was right. The suit was only six months old and I had actually loss wieght during that period. I took the pants back to Neighborhood Cleaners and explained to the owner that the pants were too tight and that someone mistakenly washed these slacks. The owner immediately dismissed my comments as impossible. We bickered for a couple of minutes. It was obvious that there would never be admission of a mistake. They loss a customer on that day because they did not own up to the obvious. The suit wasn't that expensive. Any jesture on there part to make good on this would have kept me as a customer. Instead they chose to lose a customer than to own up to a mistake that at worse would have cost them $59.00 to rectify. Do business with them with the understanding that they will own up to no mistake.
