The Bucks County Sheriff's Office, located in Doylestown, Pa., is a full-service law enforcement agency that prevents crime, protects residents lives and property, and preserves peace and order. It maintains a civil division that responds to legal processes directed to the sheriff, including writs of execution, evictions, notices, provisional and enforcement processes, and various other court orders and documents. The Bucks County Sheriff's Office also has an honor guard that marches in parades, conducts funerals for officers and their family members and attends funerals for area officers killed in the line of duty. In addition, the office conducts auctions of seized and abandon property.
