Absolutely horrible experience for me. The technician who assisted me was rude and unprofessional. She was barking orders at me, continually kicking the swivel chair she had put me in to make it easier for her to attach the electrodes to my head. I told her at that time she was being very rude and angry, and she denied that she was rude at all, and that I was the one who was being difficult. I suggested that this appointment be scraped, and she agreed that I should cancel this appointment a few minutes later. At that time I was all attached to the electrodes, and decided to see the appt. through. She asked me to get into the bed and that I must stay in the position she put me in to sleep. I was told I had to stay on my back all night to sleep. I am not able to sleep on my back comfortably due to recent heart surgery, and told her that I would be awake all night in that situation. She was adamant that I could not sleep in my normal right side position, and must remain on my back all night. I did my best to do this, and was awake all night, as I could not sleep on my back. The next morning she told me the sleep study was not a success and that there was not enough data. I now must reschedule this sleep study, somewhere else obviously, and hope my Insurance will cover the cost. On top of all this the 2 pillows on the bed had stained cases, and the headboard is very sticky from previous patients resting their heads attached with electrodes on it. This was a very uncomfortable experience I would recommend to no one. This "technician"certainly should not be dealing with the public as she has no empathetic skills or concern for a patient's comfort.
