Pathfinders Camp is a therapeutic camp licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services. This nonprofit organization provides substitute care and therapeutic treatment for 11 to 17 year old boys. The program is designed to provide services for emotionally disturbed and learning disabled boys. The boys in the camp sleep in permanent shelters, cook meals over campfires and are involved in the Boy Scouts of America program. Pathfinders Camp offers therapeutic counseling on a regular basis for all campers and provides accredited academics at the campsite by certified special education teachers under the supervision of the Charter School of the University of Texas at Austin. It is headquartered in Driftwood, Texas.
