Pretty setting. Super friendly helpful (Larry) manager, Walking trail through woods, only one shower and toilet, Wifi is ok though slows down and goes down occasionally. Water taste terrible and leaves lime deposits all over everything it touches including hair when washed, No cable, can get some channels on antenna, no cell phone signal, must have a cell signal booster for service, some sites have shade trees others do not. Occasionally a strong sewer smell.

Stayed at cottonwood creek RV park on July 5th for 3 night. campground only has one bathroom and one shower and allway's out of hot water. Also BEWARE of the water.. Don't drink it.. My wife got real sick. There was a big oil slick in the creek at this campground. Won't ever go there again..

My wife and I spent the month ...

My wife and I spent the month of February at Cottonwood Creek. It was an extremely pleasant stay. Sherry and Les were wonderful and attended to our every need. Campsites were spacious and attention to detail was extremely evident. Pets are very welcome at this RV park. We especially enjoyed walking on the wooded trails in the campground. The biggest plus was space. We didn't feel we were packed like sardines on a blacktop or cement slab. Nature was all around us. You can't go wrong with Cottonwood.

Cottonwood Hospitality

No matter if your stay is one day or a whole season, you will find Cottonwood Creek Campground a most hospitiable place. Sherry, and Les are the owners, and actually live on the property. Your stay there is like visiting their home in that they go out of their way to insure your visit is as comfortable as possible. Sherry checks frequently to insure that the guests are happy , and that all is well with the facilities. Cottonwood Creek is close to metro Austin, and about an hour out of the San Antoino area. Although it's nestled in among the ranches of the Texas hill country it's a short drive to the big city sites. You'll enjoy the time you spend there. John & Char DeBoalt

Cottonwood Creek is Heaven on Earth

If you are looking for a no frills park where you can kick back and relax, this is the place for you. Cottonwood Creek RV Park near Dripping Springs TX is a little piece of heaven here on earth. The park is small but the sites are large with full hook ups. There are 27 acres of woods to explore and it is a wonderful place to exercise your pets. No Pet restrictions except keep them under control and clean up after them. There is a nice laundry and everything is kept sparkling clean If you want to see what Nancy and I did during our stay, please visit our trip journal at http://mytripjournal.com/Helloroadwinter2009. Les & Sherry, who own and manage the park, are very friendly people. No grouches here. There is no cable, but they do have a great WI-FI system here which is free and always up and running. We came on January 17 2009 to stay a month. We extended our stay until April 17 2009. We could not think of a better place to stay the winter and we plan to be back next year. We camped here in a Motor home.

Cottonwood Creek, a place to remember

My husband and I just had a wonderful stay at Cottonwood Creek RV Park. The owners, Sherry and Les Ems were the absolute best in making our stay one to remember. Don't miss the trails through the park! The sites are spaced just far enough apart to make you feel like you're in the woods. The peace and quiet were a wonderful respite from our travels. We plan to go again and again. Thank you Cottonwood Creek!

Wonderful Park

We have stayed at Cottonwood Creek for several winters. It is a wonderful, rustic, peaceful park with super owners who treat you like you are one of the family. It has very good sites, plenty of power, lots of trails to walk and exercise. The free Wi-Fi is a very good system. We would recommend it to anyone traveling through the hill county of Texas.
