Save yourself the time, money and heartache and go elsewhere.



Was in therapy for about a year here for anxiety, due to it being the only place nearby that accepted goverment insurance. The center is WAY overbooked with patients, so you can expect to see your therapist MAYBE once a month, if you're lucky. They are forever having funding issues, which all the staff will continue to remind you of. Within the first three months I was there, they fired my original advocate due to misconduct (?) and never reassigned me. I had to call repeatedly to get reassigned.



In twelve months, I had under ten session due to scheduling issues on their end. My therapist never got my name right in therapy and I was eventually told there 'wasn't much else I can do to help you', even though I wished to continue therapy. After that, I missed an appointment due to a medical emergency (I DID call the office to let them know) and susbsequently had my case closed without being notified until I called in to reschedule.



I've been in and out of therapy for a very long time and have had great therapists and counseling centers that were understanding and caring of their patience, while enforcing their own boundaries. It is possible to find a place that--Dublin Counseling Center just isn't it.
