Established in 2012 Simply Vague started in downtown Delaware Ohio and quickly expanded to its current (and much larger) location in The Mall at Tuttle Crossing where it can be found in the food court to the right of Subway. Simply Vague is all about LOCAL and is a one stop shop for anything and everything made here in Ohio!

Simply Vague owners, Andrea and Nate Archiblad are devoted to finding the best local products to carry in the store. Simply Vague is the result of their vision to create an indoor, open year round, farmers market/craft show that offers ALL types of Ohio made products. Often described as the real life version of Pinterest or Etsy, they have filled the store with unique and one of a kind items. A GREAT store to buy gifts for any occasion!

I would strongly suggest doing your research on them. If you are a vendor and would like to have your product in their stores I would think twice. To start, both the owners are very rude and unprofessional to work with. They treat the vendors and artists very poorly. They have no respect for the people who actually keep their doors open. Without the talent of the artists who bring their product to Simply Vague, the store would not exist.

Now the real issue with this store. To start they take 40% of the sale. Which is not terrible. However, they require you to keep track of your product. The counts, stock, etc. If you ask them for help they will ask you to come in and do the count yourself. Stating that they just do not have the time. The REALLY BIG issue is payment. Over several months, they failed to pay out the correct amount. When confronted about this they state they have no responsibility for lost or stolen product. We can understand this to some extent. However, when 30 plus items go missing you start to wonder. We have a hard time believing the product was stolen. When this was brought up to the owner(s) they proceeded to push blame on us. Stating we must have counted wrong. They require a stock sheet any time product is brought in. As we were told by the owner, " We do not review this sheet."

After several emails and phone calls nothing was resolved and they still take no responsibly. The owner(s) proceeded to call us rude names and suggest that we just leave the store and that we just are not cut out for retail.

All in all, this place is not good. Do your research; maybe it will work out for you.

I went into the store on a weekend right before a graduation party. I had to pick up something for the graduate and I had NO IDEA what to get but this place looked nice from the outside with a lot of variety.

Right when I walked in I was greeted but wasnt hounded like you are in every other shop in the mall. There is SO MUCH to look at that I was pretty overwhelmed at first. I must have looked really overwhelmed too because Emily (the only one working that day) asked if she could help me with anything. I told her what I was looking for and she suggested some of her favorite things and that helped a lot!

I wish that I had more time to shop around but I was crazy busy that day. They have some really unique and awesome things in the store. I will definitely be back. I also like to be treated with respect and not stalked during my shopping so I will definitely be back. Great store and a great concept.
