First off, know this... this outfit does not buy debt. They are hired by doctor's offices to aid in collecting past due debts. If you are needing to hire a collection services team, RUN from this company! They will cost you money by running YOUR customers of!



Ms. Meadows (Renee) is one of the rudest individuals I have ever had The displeasure of dealing with! The one time I was able to get a different person on the phone (at their Augusta office), I was told that they are CONSTANTLY receiving complaints about Renee. She doesn't seem to have the ability to carry on an adult conversation; she will simply keep talking while raising her voice over yours. When I refused to allow her to control the conversation, she hung up on me. When I called back, she would pick up the receiver and place it on the desk (they eventually blocked my number entirely). She wouldn't allow me to ask questions in order to take care of the debt. I ended up visiting the office in an attempt to get the I information she wouldn't give me by phone. Of course, they wouldn't come to the door but kept peeking through the shades.



Two days later she calls my WIFE'S cell phone and claims she has filed charges against me and tnat if I return to the office, I will be arrested (looking into the legalities of her speaking to my estranged wife about private matters). Its kinda funny that she didn't call the cops WHILE I WAS THERE!! Instead, she waits 24 hours and files a false report in retaliation for me filing a BBB complaint. After speaking to the officer, he confirmed that I had NOT violated any laws and he had, in fact, told her such. However, she insisted a report be filed. The officer himself was annoyed with her!



I understand they are paid to act like lowlife scum in order to collect from lowlife scum. However, this was a $40 doctor's bill that slipped through the cracks... I could have easily paid it; it was an oversight! If I had been treated with the SLIGHTEST bit of respect, The matter would have been handled that day! Now... I am considering NOT paying it out of spite for this (soon to be) 66 year old windbag!
