Provided by YP.comSo far my experience with this store has been excellent. I went in the store back in February to get a dress for my May of 2015 wedding. So I gave them barely anytime to have errors. The girl I worked with was awesome. I found "the one" after only a couple of dresses. Unfortunately when I went back in for my fitting a couple of weeks ago I had put on weight. The dress still fit me but I no longer loved it let alone liked it. I hated it. I tried so hard to keep a brave face but there was no way I was wearing the dress. I told my mom I couldn't do it, I was wearing pants, blah blah blah. The girl who does the fittings told me not to worry, that she would get a stylist and we could start from scratch. I started crying after that because I was so relieved. Here I thought I was going to be stuck with a wedding dress that I wouldn't wear. They put me back out in a dressing room and went around the store picking out new dresses. Second dress in and I was in love all over again. Even more in love than the first time around. They were all great. We even ended up finding my mom a dress since I had store credit with the dress, bra, skirt and veil change. So far I have nothing negative to say about David's Bridal and their employees.

Provided by YPmobileI normally don't write reviews but I decided my experience was worth sharing. First let me explain that David's Bridal wasn't all that bad until one incident ruined my whole experience with them. My husband and I got married in October of last year. Throughout my dress shopping process, David's Bridal had done a fairly good job at keeping me interested in their products and keeping me happy. I am a very laid back person, but I know what I want. They accommodated when I changed dress styles after I submitted my order -- I am very thankful for that. I even got a deal on my wedding gown preservation kit. They told me to just bring in my box and dress and they would take care of the rest as well as call me when my dress arrived back at the store. This seemed to be all great and dandy until today....about 2.5 months later. I called this morning explaining that my dress was sent to get preserved and asked if they had an update on when I could expect my dress. They said that they hadn't received it and that they would look in the "back room." I waited on hold for a few minutes to have the manager return back saying that I was given a tracking number (which was written on a tiny piece of paper) and that it could look up the status that way... I explained I did not have it anymore and asked if they had the tracking number in their system. They said no (although they are the ones who sent my dress out). I asked for the preservation company's name. I called them and within two minutes of speaking with the woman who answered the phone, I had a delivery date and name of worker who signed for my package at David's Bridal. David's Bridal received my preserved wedding gown on December 2nd, 2013.
I called the store back explaining that their worker signed for it. The manager put me on hold for nearly 10 minutes to come back to say they can't find it and would call me back.
I got a call and voicemail from the manager saying that they found my dress, "it just took some digging, it was hidden behind some dresses."
So my package has been sitting at David's Bridal for a month and a half... They had no record in their system that it came in.
I went to pick it up and spoke with another worker. She was aware of the situation. I told her that as a customer I would like to give advise regarding the incident and how it was unprofessional, and that for being an items with such sentimental value, they need to be more organized. She didn't not take responsibility and didn't not apologize sincerely. Her main excuse is that the manager just confused me on the phone, when in reality she just has a big mouth and told me the truth. Oh, but she's "new" so she doesn't know apparently. She lied and said that they called many times to tell me it was in. Which, non of their lies add to any truth. I was very frustrated, especially when they didn't take responsibility for their carelessness. She even admitted that they don't keep record of packages coming in because "there are too many." Very unpleased. David's Bridal needs to hire more educated workers. I will sadly not be returning there.

Provided by YP.comwhen we went down to get a dress for our bride to be, she basically had her dress picked out before going, and that of our bridemaids dresses to. the appointment went extremely well, the lady who helped was wonderful, we ended up getting a wedding dress and 10 bridemaids dresses from this store. about two months before the wedding we had to send a dress back and order a new size, we talked to different people and got different answers, trying to keep the bride out of it because she had enough going on which we communicated they still called her. we asked to be called when the dress got in and sent out i still have not recieved a phone call and everytime i call the lady on the phone is usually rude. disappointed by the contumer service after we spent over 3000$ at that store in one day. despite my determination to make sure the dress is in on time i keep calling and i keep getting different answers about if the dress has been shipped back to us yet - its just causing more stress on top of an up coming wedding

Provided by YP.comAnnoying. I called them two months ago and told them I was canceling my appointment because I already got all our dresses locally since Duluth is a long trip. They STILL keep calling me, at first "gently" reminding me that I need to order my dresses, then getting pushy, saying I "NEED" to call them back as soon as possible. GET OFF MY BACK ALREADY!

Provided by YP.comThe consultants I had while trying on different dresses were great. I found my dream dress I was looking for at an affordable price. The dress came in quickly and the lady that went and got it for me was good. After the sales lady brought me my dress, I started asking about when I should get alterations and when I should try on my dress again to make sure I don't need to exchange it for a different size. Another sales lady rudely interrupted and said that "most brides try to lose weight, but you need to lose at least 25 lbs before you can fit into the next size down." First of all, that is not what I was asking, I wanted to know the timing of exchanges/alternations so I could be aware of "deadlines" in case, yes I do lose weight, or if on the flip side I gain weight. I love my dress and didn't want to risk not wearing it. I thought this women's comment was incredibly rude and it ruined my experience of picking up my dress for my big day. Overall, good experience, but wow, if you don't like your job, get a new one!
