Provided by YPmobileThe place is wonderful, but the website needs fixing. They say there open 24 hrs. But their not. They say Monday through Sunday

Provided by YPmobileAdmittedly, I've only been here once. However, once was enough for me. I typically get a full set a few times a year, and had a friend recommend Q Nails. Typically I go elsewhere in town, but I was up in the Hermantown area, so I figured I'd try it out. I didn't have to wait for anyone to do my nails, which was nice. Other reviews say that all of the employees have a great sense of humor, make you feel like home, etc. I wouldn't disagree with this, however, there were several instances when the man doing my full set would stop working and start to tell me a story. I'm all for story telling, but at the end of a work day when I'm just trying to fit in a nail appointment and relax a little, the last thing I want is to be stuck there for almost two hours and have 4 different workers come up to chat with the technician doing my nails, delaying the process even further. I even had a worker come up and show me a card trick. Cute, but really? Call me antisocial, but part of the reason I like to get my nails done is to unwind. I guess I'm not used to being bombarded during the process. By the time my nails were finished and I was headed to the dryer, it was 15 minutes past closing time. The person who did my nails took my payment and left, leaving me with another worker while my nails dried. It was my fault for assuming that places other than my normal nail salon (Diamond Nails) would be prompt, fair prices, and personable. I simply don't have the time to get my nails done there. The quality wasn't great. There was a gap between my cuticle and where the nail started. I figure, if you're going to take so long, they should look much better than mine turned out. Bottom line: yes, they're nice people. They have a good selection of colors of nail polish. Maybe all of the other reviewers came here on a free day, or don't have jobs, or whatever. Personally, I can't take two hours out of my day for getting my nails done. I've stuck with Diamond now. They're personable, remember you, and take 40 minutes, tops, drying time included: even on Saturday, their busiest day. I really don't have the patience for Q Nails.

Provided by YPmobileI went with my wedding party the day before my wedding to have mani/pedi's done, and a few of the ladies got stuck in traffic. They refused to let the rest of the wedding party get full service since they were late, even though they say walk-ins are welcome. I was also very displeased with the way my nails turned out. I had to fix the shape when I got home, and there were several other flaws. I will not ever go there again nor would I recommend them to anyone!!
