I have been with Vital for over a decade and I have always been treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect. They respond to my concerns and needs quickly and efficiently and I always experience a positive outcome. I have numerous accounts with them and have never had any problems. My debit card has been stolen twice, and they immediately refunded all of the money from the fraudulent charges, with no hassles or questions. I'm always confident that they are there to meet all of my financial needs and have never been disappointed. They are one of my top ten reasons for staying in the Upstate. I've never had a better bank or credit union. I always use the Asheville Hwy branch, as it's close to my home.

Avoid these hammerheads like the plague! 3-5 business day holds on ANY deposit that doesn't LOOK like a regular payroll check. No exaggeration - money orders, certified checks, small local checks. Fools returned my rent check well after I had a deposit in to cover it. Oh and NO courtesy refunds if you accidentally overdraft. No exceptions.

I have never been so disappointed by a bank in my life. If you are looking for a credit union that values it's customers this is not the one for you.

During my loan I was met with nothing but disgruntled employees with an almost seeming 'personal vendetta' against you. The staff, from clerks to the CEO, are some of the most hateful and unhelpful people I've encountered to work in a bank.

Please consider other credit unions before choosing this establishment!
