Herman's Bakery is known for custom designed cakes. The have been famous for Strawberry Shortcakes, Fudge Top Cookies and Marshmallow Donuts since 1958.
Herman's is a 5th generation family owned and operated business. They opened their 1st location "Harry's Bakery" in 1923.

I just love the bakery products Herman's Bakery has on their menu. The Carrot & Red velvet cupcakes both are made with the most delicious cream cheese icing. I picked up a box of desserts to take to my co-workers and they agreed. Herman's is definitely #1 in the bakeries. Their prices are very reasonable.

Herman's Bakery was highly reccommended to me by a friend. She told me that I would get great customer service and they had delicious goodies. She was right. I live near Washington D.C. and drove over an hour to get to the bakery. When I arrived I was greated by the friendliest sales staff who were more that eagar to help me. I was shown several cake books and was offered cake samples to help me with my decision. One of the managers greated me and took the time to help me design a cake. Herman's Bakery made the entire experience enjoyable and exciting. I have now found a bakery to call my own. Herman's Bakery treats you like family.

The Taste is so delicious! Their Cakes are fresh and moist. Looking forward to getting another cake for Mother's Day. If you haven't had a Strawberry Shortcake then you don't know what your missing. Herman's has the best in the world!!!!

My friends father dropped her birthday cake when they were headed out of their house on the their way to the restaurant for the party. Her parents were unsure what to do. Her father went right over to Herman's Bakery and the staff and manager were more than happy to get a cake made right away. they had a cake ready in 10 minutes and it looked and tasted great!!!

Herman's Bakery made me a cake for my mothers birthday. They custom designed a cake shaped like my mothers beloved dog. Misty is a little fluffy white mut and they created a cake to look very realistic. The cake was delicious and fed the 25 guests and we still have cake leftover. "Not for long though." The Price was only $79.95 for my custom designed cake.

I have been watching the different cake shows on tv and wanted to do something similsr for my daughters 1st birthday. But i soon realized that I couldn't afford the highly over priced reality bakeries. A co-worker suggested Herman's Bakery in baltimore. They helped me design a remarkable 3D Princess Cake. It looked amazing and tasted delicious. the reality bakery would have charged $1000 or more. Herman's Bakery charged me $175 for an exceptional master piece. It was well worth the money. Thank you to all the staff at Herman's for a job well done.
