The incompetence of their technician is only matched by the stupidity of their business practice. Make sure you know a few things going in. Their hourly rate may be low but the service fee is not counted towards the 1st hour of service. Additionally, after putting a part in one of my AC units I was presented with a bill where service was billed at $200 despite the fact that the technician was only here for 2 hours. When I pointed out that service should have only been $110 (55 per hour) they claimed that they bill a flat rate of $200 to replace valves because it is "tricky". As opposed to what? What type of service are they willing to do at $55? Apparently only “non-tricky” service. After talking with one of the owners of the company he agreed to knock $50 off the bill (repeatedly saying how generous that was, given the fact that that was more than ½ of the disputed amount).
