While visiting the Dunellon area with my family after kayaking near Weeki Wachee Springs we stumbled upon Carmela's Italian Restaurant. The service was so friendly and warm. My kids nearly cleaned their plates so that speaks to how comforting and delicious the food tasted. For a family of five the cost was reasonably affordable. I loved the atmosphere and we'll be back for sure next time we're in the area.

Great food. These Italian places are getting better and better. I really love the pizzas in here, simple and very tasty. Love the olives in that one.

If you love italian food then this is the place to go.They have delicious dishes and excellent customer service.The place has a really nice atmosphere.The owners are friendly and go the extra mile to serve you.

Feels like home! And there's not a bad item on the menu that I can find. The service is wonderful. Try the grouper sandwich, blackened or not, perfection. They also have the best salad bar: always fresh, well-stocked, great potato salad and cole slaw. Great breakfast items on the menu also!
