It All Started in 1999 Louisa\u2019s Movie House was opened by local propietors and Fort Lewis College alumni Don Bendell and Ericka Curlee. The original business concept was to be a video store that also sold video players (DVD players were a brand new technology back then!) In time, the demand for retail electronics, TVs and satellite systems, led us to expand our store, twice. Louisa\u2019s Electronics now operates alongside the video store, offering the best in today\u2019s technology. Louisa\u2019s Movie House has weathered the changing tides of mail order, kiosk and streaming delivery methods for home entertainment. We are grateful to our community for its continued support, and we are proud to stand as Durango\u2019s one and only independent video store.
