I had my Volvo towed to Volvo Car Clinic when it would'nt run and Tim said it needed $1500.00 to repair it. I paid less than that for the car so I took it to Built To Last and they put in a fuel pump and now it runs like new. Jeff at Built To Last is a much better mechanic and he is honest, bring your Volvo there.

TIM AND ANDY ARE THE BOMB WHEN IT COMES TO VOLVO CARS. NO ONE ELSE IN THIS AREA KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THESE CARS. I READ THE OTHER REVIEWS AND IT MAKES ME THINK THEY WERE:1. WRITTEN BY THERE COMPETITORS2. WRITTEN BY PEOPLE WANTING IT ALL FOR FREEI MEAN COME ON PEOPLE CARS COST MONEY!

Took my car there to get a timing set. Called before I got there, as it is a little bit of a drive from where I live. Tim quoted me $190 in labor, as I was supplying parts. After a week, I get a call, stating they now know everything that is wrong with my car. I never authorised them to conduct full diagnostic testing, and was surprised when Tim, the owner told me for the low price of $1200 my car would be back up and running. I refused this, as I knew what the car needed (to be timed) and had only paid $1000 for the car 100,000 miles ago, had done quite a bit of work to the car, and was upside down. Tim saw how much money I had put in the car. Tim became irate. He insulted me, instructed me to "sell the car" and "not own another Volvo". First of all I never asked for this man to go through my car and diagnose anything other than the timing which was only related to the initial diagnostics and agreed upon. He pushed me over and over to pay for the full service and told me that if I didn't do that he was not responsible for the car running bad. He also kept acting like something done with the car was so offensive he could hardly talk to me. The price for the full tune up was $1200.00, since I refused this service I ended up paying over $500 for the verification of timing, because he was mad and charged me for the diagnostics I didn't even approve him to do... Bottom line. This guy is an insulting crass man. If you have to have work done by this guy get a written estimate that says you only authorize work up to whatever your dollar amount is!! I learned a hard expensive lesson and would never return to this rip off or refer anyone to him. BEWARE! REALLY!

Worst experience I've had with a service shop ever! Brought car in for what was estimated to be a $650 repair, upon picking up the car the total bill was over $1040. When questioning the discrepancy I was totd that "estimates are only ballpark" No apologies or concessions were offered. Even after 15 minutes of expressing my disatisfaction the owner had the nerve to follow me out the door and suggest I bring the car back for other service he felt it needed and put license plate frames on the car advertising his shop! Cant even speak for the quality of the work yet but I will never return. Terrible integrity. Should have heeded other reviews on this place

Terrible service. Everytime I bring my car there the repair is not fixed correctly. Then other things break down on my car. That were good before it went in for service.
