Carter Community School is a public school, offering educational instruction to students from grades kindergarten through eight. The school maintains small class sizes with a ratio of 17 students to one teacher in grades four through eight, and 20 students to two teachers in grades kindergarten through three. It teaches a variety of subjects, including mathematics, social studies, science and technology, computer science, health education, English, arts and crafts, music, and physical education.
