Positive reviews all over web

There is one bad review here but it seems to be in direct conflict to my experience for 10 years and recent reviews on Yelp, local.com, Manta.com, their recent award for Best of Durham, an A+ BBB rating and so on. There 20 years in business under one owner and a top notch lead mechanic and the fact that their pricing is well under the dealers for Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Mini, Volkswagen.

Terrible customer service

I would also not normally take the time to write a review but I was so disappointed in the customer service that we recieved that I wanted to share my experience. We were visiting Durham from out of town and along the way encountered some problems with our car. We took our car to Crossroads and paid $500 for it to be repaired. On our drive back home the problem started to occur again. We called Bill and told him of the problem-at this point we were 2 hours away from Durham so we decided to try to continue home making frequent stops along the way. We took our car to our normal mechanic once back and discovered that the problem had not been repaired. Crossroads did some work but did not correct the actual problem that we had presented the car for. We contacted Bill again to let him know what our mechanic found and asked that he send a partial refund ($100)to be fair-acknowledging that he had performed some labor and we would pay for that. He refused to compensate us in any way. We were greatly disappointed in the manner that he chose to handle this situation and would not refer them to anyone.

worst car service experience

I had light come up on front panel, I dropped off the car here for inspecsion. In afternoon, I got a call saying the car is fixed and they did rotor job and brake pads and my bill is $623 ( this is ONLY for front wheels ).

I went to pick up the car and just told that they should have called me to check with me before doing such a expensive job like all other car shops. I asked him why did it cost so much, the response was "do you want a smartass answer or honest answer". anyways, neither answers would have been good enough for such ridiculous charges.

This is first time I took this car to non-dealer, never again, atleast not this place
