I provide Restorative Practices and Restorative Justice Training and Implementation Coaching. Restorative Practices applies the principles of Restorative Justice for use in schools, organizations, churches, agencies, neighborhoods and families. Research indicates that Restorative Practices reduces suspensions, bullying and harming behaviors in schools. The principles and practices support positive changes in school culture by fostering connections between students and students and teachers, increasing social-emotional intelligence and integrating conflict resolution skills into daily interactions. I am Licensed by the International Institute for Restorative Practices to train schools, School Resource Officers and organizations. In 2010 I implemented a Restorative Practices project in North Carolina schools. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in Drama Therapy with youth on the Autism Spectrum and with Anxiety, highly sensitive and at-risk behaviors including substance abuse, sexual boundaries, and social disconnection.
