Rogers-Herr Middle School was founded in 1967 as a junior high school that has an annual enrollment of more than 500 students. It conducts classes for students in classes six through eight. The school s academic currilculam include Language, Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, geometry and algebra. Rogers-Herr Middle School also conducts elective classes in sculpting and ceramics, business education, advanced technology, Spanish and library assistance. It additionally supports various sports and extracurricular activities, such as track and field, basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, baseball, softball, tennis and cheerleading. The school operates music, voyagers, counseling and administrative departments. Rogers-Herr Middle School has a library and media center that offers books in various subjects. It is located in Durham, N.C.
