Provided by YP.comWe just had the Alarm Man back out to upgrade our cell unit and had another wonderful experience with them, the technician was very knowledgeable about our situation. We’ve been customers for 8 years and have used them on 2 homes and always recommend them to friends. Their prices are very reasonable, much less than ADT, and they were quick to respond when needed.

Provided by YP.comI have been with Alarm Man for over 16 years and I have always found their service to be top notch and their pricing very fair. We just recently upgraded our system to support smart phone application and we love it!

Provided by YP.comTried to get our service upgraded. They sent a tech out without the knowledge or tools to perform the work, despite being told in advance exactly what we needed done and exactly what hardware we would be installing. I sent them away and tried to reschedule with somebody who had the right equipment to perform the programming. Then they tried to charge us $85 to perform an install that was previously quoted as free. Then it became $85 per hour. I did not reschedule.
I found a different company to perform the work, then asked for a refund on the roughly six months of monitoring fees we had paid because they could not perform the work. They then stated that they don't provide refunds. I would strongly suggest avoiding working with this company, they don't even answer their emails or make any attempt to resolve the issue we have had with them.
Oh, also, they also previously charged us more than the agreed upon rate after performing the install, holding our account hostage and not turning it online until we paid the additional fee.
Extremely dissatisfied with this company and personally suggest not doing business with them. Find somebody else!

Provided by YP.comWe recently contacted Alarm Man for home security. The Technician was very warm and did a wonderful job fixing the home alarm system.
But the problem was in their honesty and how they value other people's time. The first time they came to give us a quote, they simply told us that part of our system needed to be replaced and gave us a quote for $ 700 . We were in a time crunch and we decided to go with them because the monthly rates were low. I had also asked a specific question about why I should chose them instead of a big company. The answer was they were less costly over a long period of time. But later on they started adding this didn't work and we had to spend additional $100 to get the basic equipment. If we had gone to a different company, we could have had to sing a contract, but would have gotten more products like key less remote or so many other features than what we got for paying this much.
In summation, they just wanted to get my business and they really did not care whether they were being honest with the facts.

They sincerely care about their customers and are very accommodating to their needs!When I called in, theyre up front with their rates, very patient to answer ALL my questions, their security consultant very knowledgable and are truly genuine.Ed did an incrediblejob of the installation! Highly recommended. Please take the time to research your alarm companies prospects!.....especially the "major companies".

Provided by YPmobileI recently purchased a home that has an alarm system through Alarm Man. Unfortunately the prior owners misplaced the user manual. When I called the company they informed me that they are unable to replace the manual or provide any written documents. I then requested to at least be provided with basic instructions over the phone. The "customer service" representative told me that only a technician could do that -- and that the technicians were only available on Monday & Friday between 7:45-8 AM. Really?!?! So I have a 15 minute time window twice a week to learn about my alarm system??
I also would like to change the entry code (obviously) from the one set by the prior owners. I was told by the same "customer service" agent that she was not able to assist me with that either.
What's the point of a company installing alarm systems if they are unable to provide meaningful service??
This level of service is unacceptable and I will be changing alarm companies ASAP.

Provided by YP.comAlarm Man is my first choice for Burglar Alarm sales and service. The response is very timely and the service technicians are very knowledgeable. As an insurance agent, I have referred many of my homeowner customers to Alarm Man.

We find in our property management business that having alarms at our properties make our tenants feel more safe and secure. We have been dealing with Alarm Man for many years. They are very prompt and efficient when called for service or installation.
