Phoenix Behavioral Hospital is a 16 bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located on the Crowley-Rayne highway and is ranked in the top third of all psychiatric hospitals accredited by the Joint Commission. It is a secure facility that offers an intimate home-like environment and superior behavioral health programs for adults, ages 45 and above. Our Medical Director, Dr. Scott Mayers, is a Lafayette native who brings a balanced approach to medication and behavioral management. We strive to meet all the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs for the people we serve, and to create a positive environment of kind, compassionate, extraordinary care that will promote comfort and healing to all of our clients.
