I was volunteering next door to this academy and all I could hear was a lady caretaker yelling at the children. Practically screaming commands. Things like “NO!” And “GET DOWN!” But in a very rude tone. All of the children have cried at least once and she proceeded to yell at them to quit crying and that they’re fine. I would cry too I’d a lady like that was yelling at me so much. I would never send my kid here only because they lack the professionalism and the kind care I would like my child to receive. Instead, it sounds like these children are being taught that yelling and hurting with words is ok.

I went on a tour of Braithburn and did not see anything like what bigdadday said. I have stopped by this center at many different times and days to pick up my friends children. I did how ever a year ago stop by and watch a child come up and call the teacher a B**ch then trun and run laughing as the teacher went to get him he hit her in the face with his fist. The teacher then picked him up and put him in the chair her would not stay he thought it was a game. This child has done this many times to the teachers and to other staff.

One day I stopped by to pick up my friends kids and this child was getting picked up by his mother this child was out of contorl mom told him to get in the car he ran down the drive way then turned and called her a F*cking B**ch and got in the car.

To Bigdaddy be for you write something about a place that baddly you might want to get the facts. I read you review and then asked the center way they would not take a child to the bus. What they told me is that they could not leave the other children unattended to walk a child to the end of the driveway, also they did not have extra staff there to take him to the bus.There are more than one family at the center and this child is not the only one there.

I have to say that I love the teacher there; the preschool teacher has been there for the whole time my daughter has been there and her teacher is still there. My son's teacher I think has been there for 4 years. My son loves her to pieces. The previous person wrote that there was never any art sent home, I would have to disagree with her. My daughter had so much that I had to through some of it away. I do know though they don't make the kids do art it is more a free chose for the kids. I also know that they are big on the process not the end result. The previous person also said the kids never got changed in the three hours she was there, again I don’t agree, I spent a whole day with my son. We we’re trying to get him comfortable with the teacher (he just turn 1). I the teacher was helping the kids wash their hands for snack; they had just come in from outside time. For snack she gave them green beans and milk, this was because the older kids were having a snack that toddler should not have. When the kids finished their snack and she got everything cleaned up, she changed them. I did come and stay with my child 3 times during the week and the teacher was the same. I do also know that in the early morning they have one teacher open and another gale close. This is because the main teacher can’t stay from 6:30 to 6:30, that is asking too much of one person. One thing that the previous person didn’t say was that these gals are always cleaning and sitting on the floor or with the kids all day long. Thanks Braithburn for keeping my kids so safe.
