Two years ago, today I met a blind date at the Country Mansion. We had a wonderful dinner, excellent conversation. The food was very good!We are both in our 60's and crashed the wedding reception in the banquet hall. My date heard the music while we were eating and asked if I wanted to go and listen to it.We sat at an empty table. My date went over to the groom and wished him well, she dedicated a song the wedding couple and she and I danced three times. We took nothing from the reception except great memories and a first for both of us. On the way out the bride stopped us and said she was sorry to see us leave. Happy Anniversary!

The country mansion is the only choice for a large gathering in Dwight. The food is average in quality and the wait staff is attentive. The grounds are a nice diversion and a quiet place to wander around with the Windmill as the center piece.
