Dr. Porter is a native Idahoan and he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry where he was recognized with multiple awards for his academic and clinical excellence. He also served as an officer in the United States Army Dental Corps, completing a two year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Fort Hood, Texas. He is Board Certified by the American Board of General Dentistry (an honor only 1% of all dentists in the world achieve) and is also recognized as a Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a consummate learner, and has taken many hours of continuing education to allow him to deliver excellence to all disciplines of dentistry. He also has a gentle and calm demeanor chair side that put patients at ease.
