while it is nice to have a local HEB, the customer service at this store is lacking. I called in to ask if they carried something I was looking for prior to driving to SA. The lady said the manager right next to her said no. I asked to speak to him quickly to be sure (all the other HEBs have it, but this is a new store) and she kept saying she would transfer me to someone else. I kept nicely asking to speak to this person, since he seems to know. After pulling teeth he gets on the phone (guess he's too good to speak to customers since they kept trying to push me off somewhere else), and wasn't helpful or caring at all. It's fine if they're a new store and don't carry certain things, but apparently they don't even care to hear what they can get in to help their customers. I asked to speak with the store manager, and after a few transfers to other depts got someone willing to transfer me to him. His name's Jason. He put me off and didn't really listen but said " he would check into it" I got the impression that it was a blow off statement and he didn't really care. Sadly dissapointed that HEB has brought their *big chain* mentality to our *small town* and we r now loosing the small town atmosphere of people that care about each other.

MY OPINION IS I THINK THAT HEB STORES ARE WONDERFUL ESPECIALLY THE ONES THAT STAY OPEN 24/7.WE GET OUR FOOD AND MEDICINE WHEN WE NEED IT. I WOULD LOVE TO WORK FOR THEM TO BUT IT STILL HASN'T HAPPENED.HEB'S PRICES ARE CHEAT AND THE QUALITY OF THE MEAT IS WONDERFUL. THE EMPLOYEES OF THE HEB'S THAT I HAVE GONE TO THEY ARE NICE, WELL GROOMED ALWAYS GREET YOU WHEN U COME IN THE STORE OR TELL YOU "BYE HAVE A NICE DAY/NIGHT, THANK YOU FOR COMING" WHEN YOU LEAVE. THEY ALWAYS LOOK SO FORMAL IN THEIR UNIFORMS. I LOVE BUYING ALL MY FRUITS AND VEGGIES ESPECIALLY WHEN IM GOING TO MAKE SOMETHING DELICIOUS TO EAT. WELL THAT'S WHAT I THINK OR MORELESS MY OPINION ON H.E.B STORES I HAVE BEEN TO AT LEAST 10+ H.E.B STORES IN SAN ANTONIO,TX. MY NAME IS CELESTE RODRIGUEZ AND H.E.B IS MY STORE LOL LIKE THE COMMERCIAL THAT'S FUNNY.

I like the set up of the aisles in this store. It's consistent not like some of the large bulk type stores. They have decent sales & very good customer service dept.

awsome Heb employee in the bakery was able to helpe m find what i needed for my daughters birthday where i couldnt find hanna montanna eadable sheets for the cakes great work heb
