I walked in today with nine books from a recommended reading list for Honors English and went straight to the shelves and honestly could not find any of the books. This wasn't surprising because I go to a school that's out of the city (they only had shelves for the high schools within the zoning for the town). A little bit disappointed I went up to the counter where the two workers were sorting books and asked if they had an online database so they could double check that I hadn't missed something. Not only did the gentleman search all nine of the titles, but found four of them that I had looked for in the wrong section (four out of nine is pretty good). He then proceeded to tell me that if I had a list next year that I could bring it in and they would pre-order all of the books for me. *The bonus is that students get a 10%-15% discount on new books so that the price isn't sky high* Overall it was a great experience; friendly people, used-bookstore atmosphere, and a nice selection of books.
