Central Mine Equipment Company designs and manufactures a complete line of drilling equipment for the geo-technical, environmental, mineral exploration and construction industries. CME builds a complete line of hollow-stem and continuous flight augers, auger accessories and sampling systems. It also produces horizontal directional drills and all-terrain carriers. Other products include tools, equipment and supplies for core and rotary drilling, soil sampling and ground water monitoring. The company holds patents covering everything from auger connections and sampling systems to drill rig safety features. Central Mine Equipment has a 210,000 square foot facility in St. Louis, Mo. The company was founded in 1928.
