The doctor is not very friendly, rude and acts like a know it all. I told him things that my old optometrist told me and he disagreed and acted like only he know what he was talking about. I order my contacts from them and they say give us a week but it's always close to two weeks before they call me and let me know my contacts are in. I've been going to a eye doctor since I was 11 and wearing contacts since I was 14 and it has never taken close to two weeks to get my contacts in. They also were very confused by my insurance and that took a bit to straighten out. The optometrist I use to go to had no problem with my insurance and it only took a few days to get my contacts. If my old optometrist wasn't 40 minutes away I would go back to him. This office doesn't have it together

I have been a patient of Dr. Straker's since he first opened. He does a very thorough exam and his prescriptions are very accurate. My whole family sees Dr. Straker and have been very, very happy over all these years. His staff was helpful in making my glasses choices and had them ready later that day. I would recommed this doctor to every one.

I want to make this short even though there is so much to say. First off I didn't get what I paid for at all, I went in for contacts and the doctor told me I had to stick to glasses after him trying to get the contacts in my eyes and then giving up after 10 minutes. I told him that the contacts looked to big for my eyes, rudely he said "well its all we have". I was told to come back the next day and I could do a training course for an extra $25.00 which I agreed too. The next day when I came in the receptionist was telling a customer "that's the girl I told you about". I went to the front desk told them I had an appointment for training, and the owners wife came over and said "we will not treat you". They only gave me half of my money back and gave me a eye glass prescription NOT what I came in for. I have never in my life experienced such unprofessional ism and rudeness. If you think of going here THINK again unless you want to be treated wrongly and ripped off
