The church has lots of friendly people there. And my family on my moms side all go there.

If you are looking for a church that truly has The Lord as its leader, then come join us at Friendship General Baptist Church! When you first enter the sanctuary, you feel as if you have "come home". Our church has a wonderful "family" feel to it. No matter whether you are a member of the church or you are just visiting for the first time, you are indeed part of our "family"! Pastor Joe Fletcher is definitely a man of God. His sermons are sincere, coming directly from the heart. With Pastor Fletcher, you really LISTEN to his sermons; you are part of the sermons, not just a "body in the pew".



Friendship General Baptist Church in East Alton, Il has been in existence for nearly 70 years. Many changes have occured in those 70 years, but one thing that has not changed: our quest for the word of The Lord! With the love of God, the love of each other, and the love of "friendship", you really need to come be with us on Sundays! Bring your friends and family to join with us in fellowship, singing, and learning God's word!
