Took the US Sailing BK (Basic Keelboat) at Piers Park in "Eastie" in the fall of '08. Facility is unbelievable, their dock house is in the middle of a gorgeous park with an incredible view of downtown. Plus, free parking. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, really nice boats, a fleet of Sonars all in great shape. Were very flexible to accommodate my schedule, easy to register online with their website. I shopped around, they offered the most affordable rates for US Sailing Certification, and they run a great free program for inner city kids and people in wheelchairs, all free, so the money you spend goes to a good cause.

I bought a combo package, so for just a hundred dollars more, I got a membership and can use all their boats any day of the week, enter all of their races, and bring guests for free (which no other Boston sailing center lets you do)!
