Dr. Alan Berg, MD, FRCSC, received his medical degree from Queen's University, Canada. He completed his residency training at the University of Ottawa, Canada, followed by a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Bariatrics at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Berg is a fully trained general surgeon who treats a wide breadth of general surgical problems, with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic bowel resection, hernia repair and foregut surgery. He is adept at both upper and lower endoscopy.
