All of us at A-quipment Repairs & The Hood Cleaners, LLC love to spend time in the great outdoors. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has recently designated the restaurant hood cleaning process as a stormwater pollution sourcepoint. This means that unless you and/or your hood cleaning subcontractor take precautions to clean responsibly, then the restaurant is greatly contributing to water pollution, and the dirty water generated is killing our region's fish, hurting our wildlife, and raising the bacteria counts at the beaches. It is not difficult and not that expensive to clean responsibly. We clean the hoods in environmental compliance - you can too! We feel it is extremely important that our firm takes steps to preserve NY's wonderful outdoor environment so everyone can continue to enjoy it by teaching other hood cleaning contractors and commercial kitchen operators how to do the same.
