The building at 314 River Street was originally Schumacher’s Saloon from 1880 to Prohibition, and again in the late 1940s. In March of 1981, this building—along with several adjoining ones—was damaged by a fire. After the fire, the building became home to River Street Antiques and Gallery House. Then from 1995-2020, the building was occupied by River Trading Post, a unique gallery featuring fine arts by Native American artists—owned and operated by the original Joe Zeller, Sr. Paying special attention to the history and love for this building, we wanted to go full circle and create a unique environment to unwind, relax and socialize with hand-crafted cocktails, an extensive whiskey and spirits collection, select wine, beer and snacks. The building at 314 River Street was originally Schumacher’s Saloon from 1880 to Prohibition, and again in the late 1940s.
