P.S. 148 Queens is an elementary school that facilitates the learning process in a safe and nurturing environment. It additionally offers a range of professional opportunities for staff development. Located in Flushing, N.Y., P.S. 148 Queens maintains a teacher center where educators can obtain information, share materials and get ideas about the availability and use of technology in curriculum areas. The school also operates a parent volunteer program and works in partnership with the Guggenheim Museum, Marquis Studios and Inside Broadway. P.S. 148 Queens has more than 1,000 students in prekindergarten through grade five.
