We stopped last night on our way home from visiting in Mansfield. We drive this route often and have never stopped anywhere to eat. Last night we hadn't eaten and we decided to take a chance and stopped at Johnny's Snak Shak for what we figured would be a hot dog and ice cream. What a pleasant surprise!!!!! We couldn't believe the extensive menu!!! They were having a rib special for $10.99 which included a huge portion of delicious ribs, great french fries and homemade cole slaw. Absolutely delicious! The ribs were so meaty and the meat fell of the bone. It was so tender. My husband had a foot long hot dog with chili and fries. He was so happy to find a place that serves chili with meat and no beans!!! He thoroughly enjoyed his meal! The owner really cares about his customers being satisfied with the food. He came out and spoke to each customer to make sure they were happy with their meals. We will be going back to try other menu items! Very good food and reasonable prices!
