My daughter has been dancing since she was 14 months old. She is now 3 years old and LOVES going to dance class twice a week. The instructors are experienced, talented, loving, and inclusive. Most teachers are also alumni, which shows their level of commitment. Ms. Linda, Ms. Sandee, and Ms. Sheri go above and beyond for every student. The older students who assist the recreation classes are caring and offer one-on-one attention to every student.

By the way, this studio is not a "competition factory." . They only competed in 4 regional competitions this year. Anyone who has watched the show "Dance Moms" knows what a "competition factory" looks like.

This studio is in its 67th year of business. and started from humble beginnings. Their generosity makes families who cannot afford dance lessons possible. They even established a non-profit "The Juliano Initiative " to assist students with tuition and competition fees. As a child whose parents couldn't afford dance lessons, I appreciate their goal to offer the art of dance to all socioeconomic backgrounds.

I support The Dance Connection without reservation. I trust the owners, teachers, and assistants unconditionally. I know she's safe and is having the time of her life when she's there. Can't wait for classes to begin in September!

I can't say enough about this studio. My son has been a dancer here for 12 years and they are more like a second family than a studio. Their instructors are always professional and there are opportunities for competitive and recreational dance. They even offer adult dance classes. I highly reccomend them

Sitting here and bragging about The Dance Connection does not do it enough justice. This dance studio is my foundation as both a dancer and a human being. The quality of education provided by both Linda and Sandee Juliano is unmatched compared to other educators I have worked with. I cannot express my gratitude enough for what I have taken from The Dance Connection. The place is home to me and I am saying that as an alumni. Everyone that is a part of the studio is a family and everyday feels like one huge family reunion. While there, I am not standing next to fellow dancers or competitors, I am with brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, ect... Of course the family can be dysfunctional at times, but what family isn't. Sometimes you may have to look at the diamond in the rough to find your hidden gem and that gem, to me, is The Dance Connection Like I said, I can go on and on about the memories created, life lessons and morals I received, and the wonderful people I have met, but to do that I may need to have a sit down conversation that could last hours on end. So after reading this review you have only one option left, give the studio a call and get your child dancing. I didn't regret it and neither will you. By the way, I am a male dancer so do not be afraid of signing your boy up as well!

Having been an alumni dancer of the Dance Connection , I can say that my experience left me with many amazing memories. The Regional, National, and International competitions that I have competed in left me with not just numerous awards but numerous friendships worldwide. Having not been a student , starting at the age of 5, I would probably not be the same person I am today. Not only was I taught the Art of Dance but I was taught morals, life lessons, and had great role models. Thanks to Linda and Sandee!!

I have been dancing at the Dance Connection for about 17 years! This place is not just a dance studio, it is a home. Linda and Sandee Juliano are far more than dance teachers to me, they have become apart of my family. If I ever needed anything the both of them would go out of their way to help me. They supply each student with the best training possible, and offer all fields of dance. Unlike other studios I know, they help people out financially (providing fundraisers, budgets, etc.) because they never want to see a kids dream die because of the economy getting in the way.

Because of the training I've received I have been able to win National titles and get so much recognition from people about my dancing. I owe every thing to them, and I feel my life would be different without this studio. In all, the Dance Connection is a one of a kind studio and nobody should miss the opportunity of becoming part of the family.

My daughter began to dance at the Dance Connection when she was six years old. Dance did not come easy to her...it took work! Coupled with the excellent training she received from Miss Sandee and her love for the art, she became the dancer she is today. Although, it was many years ago, she still loves DANCE! Today, at the age of 34, she is a dance teacher and her daughter, my granddaughter is a student at the studio. I am very proud to say Dance Connection gave her this opportunity...Thanks Miss Linda and Miss Sandee!!

My kids love the Dance Connection!!! They always come home excited to show us what they have learned. They especially love the new turning tools that Miss Sandee uses to help with pirouettes, as well as all of the cool stretches and tap tricks. For me I love how close all of the kids are both in and out of the studio. they really are a family!

When I first moved to CT, I spent a long time researching and scouting different dance schools for my daughters. From day one we knew we made the right decision. Linda is one of a kind! She knows every child by name and goes out of her way to make them all feel like a part of the family.The children are challenged while having so much fun. My daughters hate to leave when it's time to go home. And now all they do is dance in the living room, taking turns playing teacher and making up routines. It's been 10 years since our move and my children couldn't be happier.

I have danced at The Dance Connection all of my life, and because of the training that I received, went right on to a professional career that has taken me all over the world. It was because of the level of my technique & the versitility of my style, that I have been so successful.With that said,I would recommend this studio to anyone who wants their child to have superior dance training while having a lot of fun at the same time. Linda & Sandee, along with the entire staff of The Dance Connection really do give their students the dance experience of a lifetime.

my daughters have been dancing for 11 years. The have been successful because of their natural talent, hard work and amazing teachers and studio support . I have NEVER experienced strong jealous feeling and what Panny experienced..perhaps she needs her own support to cope with her jealous feelings! Lets consider the Source here!!!

WOW, what a jealous mom you are. I also have two daughters and family members at the studio........who are all successful dancers because they work hard and have talent. Just because Melanie is a teacher doesn't automatically mean that her daughter is a good dancer. She's a good dancer because of hardwork. GET REAL, GET A LIFE!!!



The Dance Copnnection is a great studio, with great teachers.

I enrolled my daughter here as she had friends and family members attending as well. However, my daughter was in Melanie's class the first year, which was an event of its own, then running into Melanie over the summer months at a town affair and my daughter said hello to her and she completely IGNORED my daughter, this combined with the "politics" of the school and watching, Melanie's daughter, continuously win events over and over again because her mother was a teacher here. I decided to remove my daughter and we are now at another school in Branford and we LOVE it. In fact, we left the school with a few other children due to the same reason and we are all much happier. Dance Connection is going to continue having unhappy clients as long as Melanie is working there!!! Unless you are on of the parents that volunteers your time constantly and sells the most of the fundraisers you are going to be a nobody!
