Provided by YP.comPerfection from beginning to end! Professional telephone skills. Robert, owner came for estimate, installation in 5 days. Work crew were hard workers, thru rain & cold & very respectful. Worked into dark to finish in 1 day. Couldn't be more pleased!

Provided by YP.comThe sales rep, Oren(?), was very solid. He did a great job of calling back. The fence actually ended up pretty nice but the issues were countless. The poor communication between the office and us were laughable. They missed all deadlines and did not even call to make many adjustments to the final invoice. Once the gates were FINALLY put on, they took out the entire invoice and never called us. I am not sure how a business like this stays in place. With the options we have on the Island, go elsewhere. The headaches and stress is simply not worth it. Vote with your dollars and choose a place that cares a little (or at least pretends too!). Above All Fence gets two thumbs down and a middle finger.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HORRIBLE INSTALLATION OF FENCE.
they are taking over 2 months to return our calls about quality of installation. The fence fell down within a month of it being put up.

Provided by YP.com(Non-customer review) Above All Fence replaced a fence that separates two backyards in Huntington Station in June 2013. AOF was willing to install a fence on an unretained, unstable slope without stabilizing the loose soil created by the install; this will intensify ongoing erosion downhill into my yard from customer's downspouts and gutters. While removing the old fence, AOF pulled apart the corner of an adjoining, attached fence and did not repair it. AOF left scraps of old fencing on my property. AOF did not remove visible concrete runoff downslope from posts. AOF worker stated he would remove surplus soil I caught him shoveling onto my property when the job was done, but did not do so. If you want to indicate disregard for adjoining neighbors, use this company.

Provided by YPmobileFirst mistake set wrong size width for gate being installed. Second mistake gate color doesn't match fence color. Third mistake lack of communication throughout entire process. Called and left messages, phone calls returned days later. Fourth mistake guaranteed project will be completed on specific date. Fifth mistake project not completed because of another error on their part, yet again no communication until we called. Very unprofessional way of handling business and a lack of customer assistance. Sold as a 2 day project = 5 weeks till completion. Don't use the Shirley location!!

Provided by YP.comGo somewhere else! A place where they treat you with respect and where they take time to answer your questions without attitudes. This guy was rude and arrogant. He did not ask what type of job I wanted, yet quickly started to do an estimate and in the middle of writing, he began demanding that I thank him. He said, "I have not heard any thank you's from you yet..." I was floored... Mind you, this was before answering my questions, and before handing the estimate... He was explaining the many "upgrades,"he was doing for me. An estimate that he was doing mainly on his own, by assuming all the questions that he should have asked the customer in the first place. But, he seemed bothered to answer questions concerning the job. Questions any homeowner would ask, like the type and strength of the fencing and the thickness of posts. Definitely not the guy I would hire to talk to prospective customers... I understand about the storm, but every client deserves to be treated with decency and respect and have all questions answered before they prepare an estimate. An estimate that mirrors the homeowner's goals and not the other way around... With that type of attitude, I can only imagine how they deal with the rest of it...

Disgusting attitudes, no customer service skills what so ever, never shows up for appts or follows up with re-sched appts. Very dis-organized company with a lack any skills. LJ mgr thinks that he is a tough guy and has no problem solving abilities OR customer RESPECT! Not worth your time or hard earn money, go somewhere else, where they appreciate customers!!!!

Provided by YP.comVery quick to answer your questions before you pay them, yet it took 4x the quoted amount of time for them to do the job-poorly. "New" fences installed with rust?! Completely wrong wooden fence? Late laborers who littered my property with garbage - and a horrendous manager - LJ MORGANTHALER was verbally abusive, rude, and worse than incompetant. DO NOT USE!!! I am filing reports with the BBB and the Dept of Consumer Services.

Provided by YP.comAbove All Fence did an adequate job of installing our fence. After a few days, the workmanship seems good. The problem with Above All is their customer service and the time it takes them to do the installation. Above All assured us that our job would be completed within one work day, but it ended up taking four, causing major disruptions in our, and our neighbor's lives.
Instead of showing up in the morning to do a complete day of work on our fence, Above All's installation team, which included just one person, would come at all hours of the afternoon, spend just three or four hours working, and then stop, leaving our fence open and his tools and debris all over our yard. This work schedule extended a routine one day job into a four day disaster.
When we called customer service to express our displeasure with the installation, our initial contact was sympathetic. She handled our complaint professionally and offered to upgrade our post caps to solar post caps. Yet, when delivered, she had, in fact, sent only two solar caps, well short of upgrading all of our post caps.
Above All Fence is lucky that people don't buy fences very often. I'm sure there are many more people like us that would never work with this company again. Do yourself a favor, there are are many very good fence companies that will treat you much better and install your fence at the same quality, in a much shorter time period. Avoid Above All at all costs.
