Provided by YP.comSales department no complaints, they were friendly and professional. Service department was questionable at best. Some minor issues while picking up new travel trailer with noticeable flaws. We were assured that the service department goes through a new trailer with a fine tooth comb before sending it off the lot. The brakes never got adjusted after the 200 miles that the manufacturer suggest in the owners manual. Short distance to the highway from Gillettes so the issue unfortunately wasn't realized until 35 miles down the highway. Called them on following Monday and they asked me to have towed back to so they could inspect the brakes. Had a local shop adjust the brakes and they work now. We haven't even used the trailer yet so we are wondering what else they did not inspect. Buyers make sure you inspect everything before you leave the parking lot of Gillettes! Wife has a coworker that is dealing with same kind of issues and lack of knowledge from the service department.

Provided by YP.comTo Josh Robinson,
Well, I would like to start out by saying,THANK-YOU! My Experience with Gillette's RV was an awesome one! I remember the very first conversation I had with you and it was over the top. I called and explained to you that my travel trailer was being towed from a distance of over 100 miles. Because I was using AAA road service I was not in control of what time we could get the travel trailer delivered. It was a Saturday and it was getting later in the day and you stated not to worry and that you would stay after the dealership closed is necessary to take delivery of my unit! WOW! What customer service! As time went by, we were experiencing problems with the extended warranty company and other problems that had nothing to do with Gillette's RV. However, one by one you managed to fix all the problems! I hope the owners of Gillette's RV know what they have in such a dedicated, honest and professional employee as you!

Provided by YP.comLousy service department
We purchased a trailer from Gillette RV and had several after market items installed by their service department. Over the course of the next 2 years we experienced problems with each of the items installed. In each case the item was installed incorrectly. Gillette did not accept responsibility for these items and wanted to charge us for further service work. The sales department stood by their service department rather than their customer. Buyer beware!

Provided by YPmobileThis was an absolute horrendous buying experience. I live in Texas and seen the model I wanted a 2014 Cruiser Rv 280-QBS advertised on eBay. It was the absolute lowest buy it now(BIN) price in the nation. I previously bought a 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 sight unseen with no problems whatsoever and that dealer accurately described the car on eBay...so I decided to take a chance on this. Gillette Rv wanted twice as much for shipping from what I found on uShip. I did my homework on all aspects of this transaction including model known issues. I told my sales lady, Kim Martin that their are known issues with the slide and motor, since I was interested in buying one used in Dallas, TX, and the owner warned of the slide as he said his motors were replaced under warranty. Kim did not want to run transaction thru ebay and that should have been a warning. I advised Kim that I found my shipper and paid non refundable money upfront. So I asked her if the service department could prep in advance and check for any issues such as the slide....she was nice and courteous and assured me that it will be ready. Guess what? The slide didn't work and they waited till a day before scheduled pick up to find this out...even after I specifically stated the slide could be defective! The dealer stated that now it must go to the factory to be repaired. They jacked around with my shipper and started to even falsely blame him that I should have never chose a company that won't work with customers! From this point on it was nothing but lies! I should have backed out at this point....I missed a funeral on my wife's side of the family when I should've met the shipper in Arkansas. My shipper felt bad and went the trailer to see if anything was missing, yeah my sway bars and tow hitch wasn't included either. I had to have another sales rep to charge one here locally so I could have ready to go for pickup. The plumbing to the toilet was disconnected and plugged up. No winterization was ever done. The floors had creaks in them and were uneven in the back. There was absolutely no prep work done on this trailer such as caulking and the interior was filthy for being brand new. Josh played games like he was giving me a walkthru over the phone and actually will text you with child like comments when you go to the general manager, Stuart. I was promised a concession and all I got was a $50 check. You get what you pay for...run far away from this dealership. Luckily my local dealership is taking care of all the problems under factory warranty.

Provided by YPmobileWe found this dealership online. Called in and asked for a quote, when we spoke again they upped the quote by at least $3,000. we should have known then not to do business with them. Spoke with saleswoman who seems fairly new to the business. To quote our trade in, she went down a checklist and asked what our trailer had, and I answered. She asked if there was water damage, and I told her no. She never asked about upholstery either. We were quoted a price, and drive 1,400 miles to the dealership. When we got there, they dropped the trade in price by $13,000! We hooked back up and left. We lost a $500 deposit, and travel spending for nothing. Terrible terrible way to do business. Shame on them.

Provided by YP.comI could not be happier with my Gillette’s Interstate RV experience! I researched pricing across the nation and the bottom line is that no one comes close to Gillette’s pricing.
Period.
Everyone was a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable, and responsive. This was especially important for me as I am a first-time buyer. They walked through every aspect of my new travel trailer to make sure I was comfortable with all its features. I never felt rushed, and really appreciate the practical tips and advice. Traveling from out of state required significant service related to my hitch installation and vehicle wiring. Gillette’s was able to provide everything I needed and I was back on the road ASAP.
I traveled over 2,000 miles round trip from Maine to make my purchase and would do it again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Gillette’s Interstate RV! They got me what I wanted at the price I didn't think I could get away with! One happy camper here!
